Shyla (she/her) strives to create a supportive and judgement-free space in which clients feel safe and empowered to explore their struggles and reach their goals. Driven by a desire to understand and meet the unique needs of each individual, Shyla draws on a number of effective therapeutic practices, including, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy when working with her clients. With a focus on client strength and resilience, Shyla believes in an individual’s capacity to grow, change, and to build healthier life patterns.
Shyla is passionate about working with adults, youth, and children and her areas of interest include, but are not limited to, anxiety, depression, life transitions, grief and loss, interpersonal issues, and parenting.
